Some relatives from Balung Cocos Tawau included in their itinerary, visiting relatives. This should be encouraged to make the fifth generation community know their relatives. Kampung Balung Cocos

The pictures you saw had been taken at Kampong Balung Cocos, Tawau. Balung Cocos is about 30 miles from Tawau Town but closer from the Tawau airport. Most of the people are members of the Cocos Islander Cooperative. The main crop is oil palm. Other crops are also planted like fruit trees.

Cocos Islander Community originated from Cocos Islands in the Indian Ocean. Before they settled down at Cocos Islands they were formerly from BORNEO. They left Banjar Kuala, Banjarmasin, South BORNEO in a ship called BORNEO owned by a person called
