Celebrating the 21st Day Of Ramadhan

Cocos Islander Community also celebrated the 21st day of the fasting month with the making and cooking of the ketupat, but this time it is boiled and normally taken with satay or as they are. You are taught to weave the ketupat from the coconut tree young leaves and it has since become a tradition not not only to the Cocos but all Malay community. It could also be a symbol of the coming of Islam that had brought people to enlightenment from darkness.
